Default 12V to Tailer Plug

Upon our arrival in Arizona, we found our Toad (06 Jeep Liberty)wouldn't start. Dead Battery. I had wired it to have 12V off the Endura trailer plug and did some elementary troubleshooting and found I now longer had 12v in the plug. Anyone know where this 12V came from? I'm leaning to the Power Distribution box under the hood but have no real idea. All my other vehicles have 12v in the plug and this did. Thanks for any help, Steve.
