Default Supernova Hide a bed

Has anyone found a mattress for this sofa that someone can actually sleep on? The mattresss itself is cheezy so we added two layers of that bumpy foam stuff which didn't help at all. All you feel by the middle of the night is the bars that go across the bed. Any ideas?

I cut some ply wood into two sections that I can place under the mattress for sleeping and then remove for storage in the RV. Helps firm up the mattress so you don't feel the bars
