Default GD Sunstream 2000 1991 main beam

Hi Folks

I am a wee bit stumped here: my dip beams work, but no main beams. The unit has 4 headlights, I assume 2 dip beam and all 4 main beam?
Anyhow, nothing at all from the 4 on main beam.
No power to the bulb (well the light, it is a sealed unit) when main beam is selected.
I checked fuses. Didn't know how to check the dip/main switch (it is mounted on the floor, foot activated). When I click to main beam the main beam light on the dash lights up, but it doesn't translate to the main beams leading me to believe it isn't the stitch.
Questions for my learned friends:
Should all 4 light on main beam?
Is there a relay or something i should be checking?

Thanks in acdvance.

What kind of chassis? Put your info in your signature block for better info. Check the high beam relay.

Good point, thanks: updated!
It is on a Ford F Superduty. I managed to find the relay and it is clicking away, I got a replacement just in case but no progress.

Looks like it’s time to get out the voltmeter. Is there 12vdc getting to the relay? Leaving the relay? Getting to the headlights? Lamps burned out?
My initial guess is that you find no voltage getting to the relay. Good luck,
Dennis

Hot wire the relay and see if that works. I would say it's the relay even though it clicks. Put power to the output off of the relay and see if the lights go on. Look for a bad connection off the relay.
