I had today off from work... spent day kayaking in Vermont. Now going to eat some dinner. Figured the wireless wouldn't have worked from the middle of Sherman Resevoir. Plus, being new to kayaking, I was afraid laptop would get wet.
Had a great time... arms feel like filled with lead. I never do anything in moderation

Good for you Bob, We canoe when we can, But I think we are getting too old for any long trips, We have done white water (mild) a few years ago still love to do it but body says no. Have fun!

So that no-one misunderstands, I too, am way too old to be crashing down some whitewater rapids. It is fun to just get out on a lake or resevoir in our kayaks & paddle around. We used to do this in a pedal boat with canoe paddles; but there was no easy way to transport it when RV traveling.
Now, I've installed Thule Kayak J-hooks on top of my offroad, ZR2 Blazer (toad), I plug a bike carrier for our mountain bikes on the receiver in the back of the Blazer. Of course, the Blazer is a fun toy as well - fully capable for serious off-road adventures.
Sounds like we're REALLY on the go? Well, I also enjoy a nice afternoon nap. I like to get up late in the morning & I generally fall asleep on the lounge chair in front of the campfire.
The image is ruined???? Ha Ha Ha...

Well I am sitting at home recovering from having a few friends round yesterday to help us celebrate our 29th wedding an anniversary and we are suffering from over indulgence of liquid and food and sun
