Question Remove recliners from 2021 Conquest

I want to remove the double recliners from my rig and replace with a couch or jackknife couch. I can't figure out how to take it apart so that I can remove it through the narrow coach door. Any thoughts?

You properly have a large window. Believe it or not, removing the window to have a big enough "hole" to remove the furniture is fairly routine.

Was able to take the recliners apart and remove them thru the door. Thanks for the idea though.

Well the back rest should come undone, besides unbolting the seats from the floor. I’ve got theater seats in my 2021 gulfstream 6320 and looked them over. So those backs should come off. Once you get it unbolted from the floor it’ll be easier to mess with it. They’re made similar to your home recliners and all that. Some of these backrest have a catch that latch’s to the rest of the seat. Check it out.

After unbolting the chairs from the floor, I turned them upside down. From there, it was easy to unscrew the arm rests and the chairs from the center consol. Total 6 pieces out the door. Worked with my next door neighbor. Sold the lot in three days.

Most all recliners, home or RV, the back lifts off the seat, maybe a cam lever lock you have to release. The individual parts then go thru door easily.
