Default Loss of audio on one TV when using Sat

Hi all,
We have 2008 Tour Master model 40A and recently we have no sound on Number 2 TV (the one that comes up from from the cabinet behind the passenger seat) when using input from the sat dish. Regular TV, cable, and DVD player all work fine and other 3 TVs have sound on Sat. All wire connections on TV, and the control box and panel above the windshield are tight. Has anyone had a similar problem with solution?? Or any trouble shooting suggestions.

Thanks for any thoughts,

John

Not just in our rig, but in Cable TV sets and Sat sets. Check under your sound settings for that TV. Ours had several different sound type settings, when I changed from the one that was working, it quit, so I changed it back and all was fine. Go to MENU settings on that TV and look there. Hope this helps and it is nothing more serious.

Thanks for the reply. I've done all that, reset audio to factory settings etc. I even switched the cables in from Sat to different input on TV with no change. I'm convinced its either in the Avs200hd select source box or the cable/connectors leading from it. Audio on TV works on reg antenna and cable--just bad on Sat. Worked fine until this summer.

Again, thanks for the reply and suggestion. I'll keep plugging away at it.

Sounds a bit more serious. Sounds like you are using the 3-wire av connections. Like you, I might suspect the av switch box. Good luck, and be sure to let us know what you find as it may help someone else.
