Default Bedroom reception from antenna

When on the road and do not want to set up our portable Shaw Direct satellite, we try the batwing antenna. Normally we get 8-12 channels in the living room, but normally do not get any channels in the bed room. Funny, in North Carolina we usually do get reception in the bed room. Any idea what can make this happen, and anything I should do or try? We have traveled from Ottawa, Ontario to Florida for the last number of years. Thanks

It comes from your booster switch, make sure its on, red light on, for antenna, red light off for cable, or check the cable from your booster switch

Here is a generic layout of the connections that might help...

My Gulf Stream Class C has power amp with red LED light booster switch in bottom of cabinet just over the dinette. Loose in cabinet bottom behind it is a cable splitter that sends the off air antenna feed to both front and rear TV sets. Check that location for bad connection, bad splitter, or cable with a staple thru it. Sounds like rear TV is using the remaining cable as an antenna when home close to powerful stations, but not getting signal from rotating batwing antenna and booster amp when in remote areas.

Thanks guys, I have been away. Will look at these suggestions tomorrow. I do ensure the red booster is on, located below our living room tv.
