Probably one of our favorite camping locations is Hills Creek State Park.

The place is clean, friendly, beautiful, maintained, blah blah blah. Our site was huge, no, it was HUGE. manicured lawn. I can't say enough.
It is near the "Grand Canyon of PA", ie Colton Point State Park & Leonard Harrison State Park with miles of driving, bikking, hiking.
We highly recommend the area.
Hickory Run State Park is another good choice, I think. We didn't stay there, but visited Boulder Field (awesome). Park ranger blond told me to go ahead & drive our 37' Sun Voyager to the field site; "they do it all the time." Well, they don't, and I have a scratch down the side of my unit to prove it won't fit over the narrow bridge on the 90-degree turn. That aside, the park is beautiful &
