Default 12volt switch

Hi all
can anyone tell me why the 12v switch on the entrance to my BT Cruiser 5250 has stopped working
if its on or off the 12v lights still work
I thought this switch was to disconnect supply from the leisure batteries to the MH
Thanks in advance
Graham

It sounds like the switch stopped working in the on position due to the fact that the lights are still working. The contacts in the switch may have welded themselves together. I think the switch can be purchased at Napa or pep boys are any big truck parts house.
