Default Overhead Squeak on Endura International

I have an 08 Endura International 6341 with 10,000 miles. Recently, it has developed a loud squeak coming from the overhead bunk area between the cab. The squeak is more pronounced at slow speeds when the chassis is turning or going over bumps.

Has anyone else experienced this? I was hoping it was just from the cold weather, but it seems to be staying, even though it is getting warmer.

My fear is it is from where the cab meets the "RV" box. I recall on my Renegade that there was a rubber gasket between the two to take up the chassis flex. But I don't see that on the Endura. How are the two attached?

I do not have that issue but it sounds structural to me. In that case, I would get it to a GS dealer to look at it as soon as possible because we have a two year structural warranty on these units. Mine unfortunately runs out next month but I have not had any structural issues thus far so I hope I will not in the future.

There should be a thick rubber gasket there -- try looking at it from outside the cab. My guess is that slipping there is the source of the noise.

EDIT: Just saw that you have the International chassis. I was referring to the Kodiak C5500 chassis...

Our International Super C Conquest did the exact same thing on its
maiden voyage. It sounded like 2 sheets of stryofoam rubbing together
on any bumps on the road. It was fixed by Russ Dean RV in Pasco
Washington along with many other issues after 3 months of trying to
get Gulf Stream to cover the problems under their joke of a warranty.
I know that the problem was fixed in 4-5 hours but I am not sure what
the cure was. (There is no doubt that the cure is quality workmanship
in the first place!)
If it is after the warranty period for you and your dealer is great like
Russ Dean RV has been for me, I doubt it would be an expensive fix.
The Plastic cap that covers the opening U shape on ours had the screws
that ancored it in place comming loose . I, if it was not finally fixed by
Gulf Stream was going to take the cover off and use a can of foam
insulation - shooting the liquid foam between the layers . I think that
when it dried the problem would be fixed.

I have the 2008 Endura on the International and it had same squeak. I took it back and the dealer spent a good portion of the day tightening the cab to the coach body. The rubber colar has adjustment/tightening bolts that needed to be adjusted. Noise went away once done.
