Default Recent Rains, Small Leak.......

With some recent Rains in our area, I noticed a small leak coming from one of our Fantastic Fan Housings! Should running some Silicone Sealer around the Vent Area
on the Roof do the Trick, or does anyone have a better way to solve this Problem? Thanks for any solutions......................................... .................

Use Dicor self leveling caulk around the seams up top to repair.
Caulk dries up over time and then get leaks from the cracks.
You can get at camping world or most rv parts stores

Thanks holmesaw, Going this weekend to Camping World and picking up some Dicor Sealant! Don't need any Water Problems. This will be my 1st time up on the Roof,
so I think I'll Seal every Nook and Cranny just to be sure. We've had our Coach for nearly 2 years now, but most of that time it was in Covered Storage due to both of
us still Working, but now that I Retired in April, we are living in it FULL TIME, and Loving it................................................ ...........................

If you are going to use large volume, go online and search for it and you can buy by the case for much less $$. I did the whole roof, every seam last year and could have saved a lot of money by buying online. I would try a couple of tubes first to see how you like it.

Sometimes the vent cover is not completely seated. Chect that first and make sure it is, this has happened to me a few times.

Every RVer should get on top of the roof at least once a year and plan on doing some caulking. I use Dicor self leveling caulk. Check the caulking for cracks. Clean the area where the crack is with a rag socked with paint thinner to remove the grim. Do the whole roof where there are cracks, then also check where your antenna's connect and clearance lights. DO NOT USE SILICONE! That is a no no in the RV industry.
