Default noise in dash

I have a 2010 SN 6331. On the highway at about 60mph+, a noise starts around my dash that sounds like it's coming from the middle dash over to the passenger side. A kind of vibration like maybe plastic vibrating. I have looked and looked but can't seem to see the culprit and once I drop the speed back to 55mph the noise goes away. Has anyone had this problem? This sound could be originating from the other side of the firewall it's hard to tell)

The two culprit areas for my older 6331 are the drawer type cup holder in the center of the dash and making sure the fuse box lid in front of the passenger seat is securely latched. Vibrating at a certain speed usually is caused by engine harmonics. Speeding up or slowing down changes those harmonics and the vibration goes away.

On the cup holder, I have virtually removed everything except the slide and actual drawer. That application is pretty cheesy in my opinion and it is not very useful for holding cups.

Good luck finding your gremlin. It may take many miles and hours on the road to discover a fix and when you do, there will most probably be another one to take its place. That is part of the fun for me.

I have a 2010 SN and had a rattle start after about 7000 miles. Mine turned out to be the underdash light on the sidewall - drivers side. The bracket was rattling against the sidewall. I placed a piece of dense foam between the bracket and sidewall to keep it from vibrating and problem was solved... Good luck!
