Hello, Yes that is a possibility, I see in the posts it mentioned as I have about suction and cleaner. Unfortunately it is a very time consuming job but will do the job if given enough attention. Or as you mention worst case is take it apart and see how far the damage went and repair it. Again it possibility could have been avoided with preventative maintenance most times. I can't say enough about that. Most rvs fail due to leaks from lack of maintenance or owners just give up or don't care about that old rv sitting there.

We had the roof rubber coated 2 years ago. Not sure if branches overhead might have jarred something-there is old antenna & dish on roof we never fooled with.

We did put our awning out this year. Could the flapping of that cause a leak?

Of course back home a squirrel has been known to sit up there & sun himself.

Who knows. *♂️

Hey Julie, dealing with persistent brown spots on the ceiling can be quite a challenge. Considering you've tried various cleaning methods, it might be worth checking if the issue is under the carpet or involves deeper layers. Maybe consulting with a professional RV service or reaching out to the community for similar experiences could provide some effective solutions. Best of luck, and hope you enjoy the winter in Florida despite the rainy days!

Thanks. Hope weather here in Florida straightens out so I can get to the beach!

That 50/50 bleach water & pressing a clean cloth to pull out moisture has seemed to bring out a lot of the brown. Just doing small spots & letting it dry several days.
Thanks to everyone who has answered this post. SO appreciative of the advice!!
