Default My backyard looks nekkid!!

After using the camper over the weekend for a great trip to Mio, Michigan (between Mio and Lewiston for the other Michiganians on the group), I had an idea that was so brilliant that my husband is still scared.

We were less than 30 miles from the campground that we will be going to in August for 9 days and I thought we might as well as call them and find out if:
  • 1. We can store the camper there and
  • 2. How much it would cost.
Yes, we can, and it will cost $35 per month. Since that is about $45 less than the gas to haul the camper up north, we decided to go for it. We dropped off the camper on the way home, signed our agreement to keep it there and headed home in holiday traffic without towing a camper. About 45 minutes saved in time, about $45 less in gas. I was able to drive to hubby could snooze.

He now knows why he married me........

Liz, you're one "smart camper"!!!! LOL
Saving gas going & coming -- can't beat that!

Course, you know, NOW you're gonna hafta pack yo stuff in boxes, laundry baskets, etc. cause the RV's not in the back yard! LOL

That's the down side of leaving it somewhere else.
