Default Using Gen Set

I have the 04 Crescendo with 7.5 quiete diesel gen set. What would happen if I start the gen set while hooked to park power?

Nothing bad will happen. Gulf Stream uses only Lyght Power Systems LPT50BRD automatic transfer switch in their 50 amp units. The ATS senses when the generator is started, waits 30 seconds to assure the generator is up to speed, & switches power over to the generator; completely disconnecting park (shore) power 1st, then closing on generator power; nuetral first, then power leads once the neutral closure is detected.

Shore Power & Generator power are NEVER interconnected. The blip in power within your unit may be long enough to for any digital clocks (microwave) to loose their time ... but no real harm will come about.
