Default Ford V10 Hydroboost

Hey Folks
Here’s a couple of Brake Q’s related to my whining sound.
2005/6 Triton V10

1) Can anyone tell me where to find the Electric Pump for the Brake Hydroboost.

2)Can anyone with the same Chassis tell me if their Hydroboost dash light comes on at start up?

3)If the fuse blows or relay is broken, would the light stay off?

4)Any other experience with this little system would be appreciated.

Thanks.

The hydroboost systems I've worked on use the power steering pump for the boost, no electric pump.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve managed to resolve my quandary.
The HydroMAX uses an electric motor to back up if the engine fails and provide a degree of brake and steering assistance.
The HydroBOOST simply runs the brake assist off the power steering as you say.
Thanks for taking the time.
