Default Newbie with a question

Hello,

New to this forum, hoping to get a fix for the problem I found. I just purchased a 2015 Gulf Stream Toy hauler, the smaller 17 foot. When I went to let the beds down, I noticed the screws that bolt the couch frame to the camper are stripped out. What a crappy design. Does anyone have a good fox for this problem?

Thanks

If they’re sheet metal screws you can fill the hole with wooden match sticks to make a tight fit for the same screw or you can step up to the next size screw. If they’re machine screws you can use a tap that’s the next size up to enlarge the hole and recut the threads and then use the size screw that matches the tap.
