Default Changing a Bath Tub in an 189 DD

We recently purchased a Gulfstream 189DD. The unit comes with a bath tub, and we find the tub wall difficult to carefully cross over. Has anyone ever taken out a tub and replaced it with a shower stall? If so, how did it go?

First issue, is the bottom of your tub quite a bit off the floor? If so that’s where all the plumbing fixtures are. To attempt to put in a level entry shower pan will mean you will most likely have to change the gray water tank to a lower waste entry type. That will involve your kitchen sink drain as well. Most RV units drain bath sink in to black water tank (toilet)
Finding the correct size pan will be almost impossible.
My honest thought would be to find a coach that has an almost level entry shower stall and buy it.
