Default Lock door

I own a 2018 Vintage cruiser. After travelling from home to a site I couldn't open the door. The key turned both locks but I couldn't get the door handle to release and open the door, no matter how many tries it still wouldn't open. Any suggestions?

Default Dead Bolt loose

I had the dead bolt tongue come loose from the linkage and through centrifugal force of closing the door or bouncing down the road come out and the key would not disengage it. I took the inside part of the lock off with the door still closed. I found the end of the dead bolt tongue and used an ice pick to get it to slide back into the lock assy. Then I was able to open the door. Put some duct tape over the tongue until you can get a new door lock assembly.

Thanks to all responders, the only way to solve the problem was to completely replace the complete door lock.

Oh yea, they are junk. I am considering a spare just to carry in the coach. Not a big job once you have done it.

We have the same problem and found pushing in on the door near the latch allows us to open the door.
