Default WFCO converter? Yes? No?

Any feedback on WFCO converters? Talking a new model WF 8945

Is a Progressive Dynamics, PD 4645 a better choice?

Had a WFCO on our last camper. We bought it used and it was 2 or 3 years old. The WFCO failed with a broken solder weld on our first trip. I repaired it and it worked well for another two years where it broke again in the same spot. Replaced it with the PD model that was a plug and play with the WFCO case. Loved it. With that said our new camper is three years old and has been running the 55 amp WFCO without a hitch. I do not plan on replacing the unit unless it fails where I will immediately and unquestioningly replace it with the PD unit. Hope that helps.
