Default brake controller

i was looking for wires in order to install a brake controller and noticed a six pin FLAT type plug connertor at the rear of my MH. is has been adapted down to a four pin flat. this looks like a factory connector. if so there should be the mate to this wiring under the dash. can anyone suggest where that might be located. i notice that most people on here have newer MH and they all seem to have the wires just where you think it should be, but mines at little older and there sure is a mess of wire under the dash . the wire colours on the plug are-red,blue,green,brown,white and yellow and looks like one or two places for more wires.
thanks.
Frank.
