Default Vacuum Pump 2008 Independence

I am having issues with the chassis A/C blowing air out anything but the defrost. By all what I read it seems to be a Vacuum Issue. Looking for help on the exact location of the vacuum pump on a 2008 Independence

Had that happen before and it was eroding rubber vacuum lines. Found the leak and replaced a piece of vacuum hose. On our coach the vacuum comes from the engine.

Ours uses the vacuum the engine makes while it's running, no pump. V10 Ford.
Look under the hood for bad vacuum lines.

My 2000 Conquest, (on Ford 450)has the same problem, which seems to be common. I’ve seen a few YouTube videos on easy fixes, but I’m chicken. My repair guy gives me a $700 to $800.00 estimate!! Let us know what you end up doing?

My son found the cut vacuum line, he traced it from start to finish. And bamb there it was. So advice is to just keep tracing.

Now the air blows, but the hot/cold mixer door is acting up, so we will look for the cause of that

That is usually a cable operated flapper. Not vacuum.

Respectfully disagree on that Sudsy.

On my Sun Sport it all works off vacuum. There are no cables.
