Default Considering to buy 2004 Gulfstream Sun Voyager 8379 MXG

Hi,

I am considering to buy a 2004 Gulfstream Sun Voyager 8379 MXG Atrium, I am new on this and I want to take it to my country, because I am new, I would like to know reviews about this model, I just want to be sure that I am doing a good business. The one I have in sight is very clean, very low miles. In my country we have hills and I am wondering how the engine will respond in this type of terrain? thanks for your help.

Need more information on the coach. Is it diesel or gasoline it makes a big difference. What country do you want to take it to? How many miles does it have? How are the tires, most RV tires need changing every five years from the date stamped on the sidewall.

Hi Ray,

thanks for your message, it has 12,500 miles and it's Gasoline. My country is Guatemala with high hills ups and downs.. Most of the big busses in my country are diesel, better performance for this type of terrain, so we are considering to but a diesel but this voyager it's really clean and nice.

Tires are in good condition, but we were thinking to change for new ones.

That coach probably has the Ford V10 on a F-53 chassis. The engine is not even broken in at 12500 miles. As far as the engine goes, it has plenty of power.

Make sure it does not have too long of a rear over hang because if it does you will be dragging the rear on any dips, also when you have too long of an over hang, you get what is called wag the tail on cross winds.

I have had both gas and now diesel. For me diesel is the only way to go, but that is just me.
