Hello all. I just wanted to say Hi and tell you what a great site I think this is. I already signed the pettition although I have not have any major problems with mine, yet. We had a 1988 GS Sun Vista 34ft and last month bought the 2005 GS Crescendo 8356 36ft DP. We are very happy with it and can't wait for the weather to warm up some. We did get out and camp one weekend in January and everything seemed to work well. We have a few minor issues however. I believe that the tank sizes are suppose to be fresh 70, black and grey 75. With three people the tanks showed full in two days. After it showed full I took and long (for an rv) shower and there was no back up into the drain. I told the dealer and he said the sensors could be adjusted. Does anyone know if this is true or have had the same problem? When I dumped it seemed like much less than 75 gallons drained out. Thanks for any feed back on my question. I just hope the tanks are the right size as that was one of the big reasons we picked this model. Happy camping all.

TSoul, welcome to the website and congratulations on your new Cresendo. I am sure you will enjoy this forum as much as going out Rving in the new rig. I believe the my gray and black are only 65 gals each and it would be nice but not a must to have to have larger. When you get the time and tanks have been dumped. Fill each with fresh water untill absolutely full and then measure with a five gallon bucket under the dump vlave how many each tank can hold. This way you will know what you have. The level sensors and or monitor can be adjusted to be close to the level in tanks. Tissue can give you a false reading in the black tank so a trick has been to pour about five gals of ice into a 2/3 tank of fresh water in the black tank just before you leave and while driving it will bounce around inside tank and clean the sensors; ice melts and when you get to your destination you can dump the water. Good luck and injoy!

We are on our second GS and we had sensor problems with both. After time you will get a idea on how many showers you can take before the tank needs to be emptied

We leave the gray water open at all ties as we have both a washer dryer and a dish washer. That tank is half full if you believe the gages. Those sensors just don't work. This is our seventh RV and none of them worked.

Honestly I don't expect the gauges to be accurate on a normal basis, however I thought they would be the very first time I used them. After all nothing has every been in the tanks before. Oh well just wishful thinking I guess. As long as they are the correct size tanks I guess I don't really mind. I was just afraid they put tanks in half the size that they claim they have. Thanks for all the replies.
