Default Can anyone help a newb?

Just bought our first camper. It's a 2017 Gulfstream Conquest 198BH. I seem to be learning things ok, but one thing has me stumped. I don't see any way to monitor the holding tank levels. Other than a flashlight down the toilet, is there some way to tell? Or am I just not seeing the gauges

Look where you turn on your water pump, there should be buttons to test all tanks levels

There are none on this one. Thanks for the reply, though.

There seems to be NO way to monitor levels in the 198BH.

That should prove to be fun. I guess that means dump early and dump often. Thanks all.

Suggestion . I took mine out in normal configuration. I did not use the bathhouse for showers or potty. I monitored this for the week I was out. I have done this 3 times and I have figured out about how long I can go without dumping black or grey. Hope this helps.

Happy Camping

On a lot of models the level indicators are on the front of the range hood.

The 198BH doesn't have a range hood either. It is just a very base model.

I looked on youtube and found the 'monitor panel' in this video so you would have a clue as to what to look for;

Fill the freshwater tank. When it's empty, it's likely time to dump. That's what I do. (Of course, that means not taking advantage of full hook-ups.)

First one I've seen with a monitor panel. Mine doesn't have one either.

That must be a newer model than mine. I have the 2017 and there is no monitor panel there; just the thermostat.

Now you know what it would look like if you had it.

Rax, The problem is that the Conquest 198BH does NOT have a monitor panel, hence newb's question. I know as I have a 2015 model that is the same way.
