Default Satellite TV

Has anyone put Satellite receiver in SuperNova in particular, a 6362? What model/Company did you use?
Trying to figure out how or rather where to put a receiver.
The cabinet area above & below the living room TV isn't large enough to put a receiver in.
Any ideas where else to put it ? Or what to do? Thanks for any ideas.

My old pal Texas TC gave me a shout about this post- We had a 6362, (200 and installed our receiver in the cabinet above the chair right as you walked in the door on the right, in the first cabinet. They strung the wires under the "crown molding" over to the TV in the living room, and then to the tv on the other side. We also had a TV in the front cabover, and they ran cable to there also. The installation took most of a day, and was done where I purchased it, McClean's in Ft Worth Texas. They had a decent TV tech.

Memory is a little short, but it was the newest latest version from Winegard at the time, maybe a SK-3005? It always worked very well for us.

We installed the roof mount towards the front, which was always advantageous for getting a signal many times. Went back into the archives and attached a photo of the dish raised up.

Hope this helps.

Jim-Bob: THANKS a million. I'm going to try to do it that way. My other alternative was to just plug in the reciever above the large TV by the door every time we set up at a site.
We'd never use it while driving anyway. I'm going to do your method it should be easy I just need to run the coaxel and the 3 way line over to the TV through that molding.
And to TC where ever you are... Thanks again. You always seem to be there with the jught info.

Lab Cab, my pleasure.

We used to live in East Windsor New Jersey, still have a daughter in Princeton area... Good luck with your installation. Sorry I didn't have interior photos to help you out.

The unit has a controller box to raise and lower the anteanna, and as you mentioned, we had a form of signal splitter installed also- We could watch all 4 tv's at once, which visitors thought was pretty kewl....

Safe Travels.
