No 12v to roof top ac units

Hello all im looking for some help i have a 98 sun voyager. Im having issues with the ac units the fan will turn on but the compressors wont and when i check voltage at the ac unit the terminal that is supposed to be 12v is only getting like 1v at the most

Hello quick check
Make sure the fan setting on the Stat is set to auto.
Then also be sure it's set to cool mode then check the voltage again.
If still no signal I would change the simple things first could the thermostat be bad?
