Default 2011 Gulf Stream 21MBLE Ameri-Lite LE tires

I found a clean 2011 Gulf Stream 21MBLE Ameri-Lite LE.It has 13" wheels. I need to know if I can use 14" wheels on this trailer. Has anyone mounted bigger wheels on a 21mble? I'd like to buy Goodyear Endurance tires and they don't come in 13" sizes.

I've terrible luck with Chinese tires on my fifth wheel.

You should be able to get wheels that fit and you can research the tires for the outside diameter size to see if they would fit.

I don't have the trailer. Can anyone verify that the wheels are the 5-4/1/2 pattern?

I was wondering if the heavier tires would affect the axles and bearings?

From a strictly mechanical point of view the taller tires would produce a lower rpm and be easier on the bearings.

The trailer is 3300 lbs the load capacity is 1125 lbs and the tongue weight is 340. I can get 13" radial tires in D rating with 6800 lbs for the 4 tires. I might think that is good enough.

The tire guy thought the 14" 205 75 14 D tires might cause the light trailer to have more bounce as the load range would be over 8000 lbs.

Maxxis makes their radial trailer tire, the M8008, in a 13" https://www.maxxis.com/catalog/tire-...t-radial-m8008. Many good reviews on this tire. They're the ones I run on my 15" wheels. That's the route I would go if I were you. Most tire shops can order them.

With those weights, you probably have two 2000 lb axles on there, so even load range C tires will be fine.
