Default Hitch on rear bumper of Visa

I bought this "Hitch Extender with Step" for $25, bolted the plate to the bottom of the bumper with Four 1/2" bolts and clamped the long end to the frames crossbar using an extended U-bolt. An 1-1/2" spacer (could be light metal, or channel, I used a block of plastic) was needed on top to level the hitch or give it a slight incline for a bit extra bike tire to ground clearance when using this with a bike rack.

Total = $30, plus I painted it after I took these pics.

To test this out, I installed a rack I have, inserted the bar partially, stood on the very end and jumped up and down.

I am almost 200lbs, and I am standing about 2ft out, effectivly is 400lbs of down force...and I was bouncing. The hitch doesnt budge AT ALL. Which make this VERY impressive!

So Rincon, How has this hitch set up worked out for you? Any problems. I'm looking at doing the same thing and want to know how it works in the long run. Thanks for the photos, they are very good.
