Default Buying tires on line

I have to buy Maxxis tires on line. There are no dealers in Illinois. Can anyone recommend an on line store. I worry about getting old tires.

I bought tires from simpletire.com and they were new and the price was good. I had them mounted at Walmart.

Simple tire had a good price. Did you ever read their Better Business Profile. That is what worried me. Getting older tires is my only worry.

We bought Goodyear Endurance tires from simpletire.com last December and the price was good and fast delivery. As far as the manufacturing date of the tires according to the date code they were only about a month old when we received them. I would buy from them again when we need tires. This was our experience from them.

Have you tried calling any of your local tire shops to see if they can get them? I got mine through Discount Tire. Maxxis' online dealer locator is terrible. I'd call around.

It was the Goodyear site, not a dealer. If you got a set of Goodyear Endurance 13" tires let me know where you got them. I just was at a brick and mortar Goodyear store and was told no 13".

Well Simple Tire says they don't ship tires older then 4 years old, DUH. Discount Tire won't sell any tire older than 1 year old. I don't need any old tires, sorry on simple.

In my answer to Larry, has anyone seen Maxxis 175/80R/13 tires in D range.
