Default Leak at bottom of slide area

Hello we have a 2005 5250 BT cruiser. We have it for sale and had it at a local dealership lot with slides open. We have just relocated to a very rainy area (pacific north coast) from an area where it never rained (southern CA). During the first good rain we went and checked the RV and had leak all around the top of the slide, no water from ceiling water just coming out above where the slide comes in along the horizontal edge, all along it. We caught it immediately and RV was put inside dealers garage and he said seal was bad and dealer fixed it (200 dollars).
Back out on lot with slides open and not level (not too bad but front driver side slightly lower and tilted up on that side). Next rain we let it rain for a couple hrs then went and checked it. Water sitting on carpet at front corner of slide on drivers side, worse than before, same area as before but No water coming from top.
We all went outside in the rain and dealer pointed out that water was collecting in a pocket or drain area at bottom of slide front corner. The seal is not completely closed there on either side, has a flap and you could stick your fingers thru the rubber and feel all the water. Thats the way it’s designed. He said there should be a drain or it should be tilted where the water will come out but it is not. He said he can fix it but it may involve cutting into slide maybe down to frame? He is trying a less invasive approach right now.
We had slight water intrusion in this area on both driver and passenger side front corner of slides after a very hard rain once when camping while level. husband recaulked end cap and did not notice it again for last couple of years however we do normally keep it covered. So it’s possible this could have been a problem all along and we did not know it. We do not think the roof is the issue.
Anyone else had this problem in the bottom corner seal of the slides? What did you do to fix it? Is this a design flaw? We know if the coach was level and slides were closed we would have gotten LESS water but based in our history with it I think we will still get some water intrusion if we don’t fix it. Any help or suggestions appreciated, sorry for the long post.
We really like this unit but are full time for next 3 years so bought a fifth wheel. That is why we are selling. It has been a good unit.
Thanks zigpep

Does your rig have the automatically extending awnings over the slides? If not you may have to have them added to funnel the water more off to the sides of the slideout or add or modify seals to work better.

I strongly recommend that you close the coach up and get a large de-humidifier in it to dry up the wet areas before the mold and stink start.
