Default Door popping

So on a recent trip to tbe U P everthing was fine until 3/4 in Ohio. After our 2nd stop n fuel. Cruising down the highway and door popped open. Then kept popping open. The dead bolt stopped fully engaging.
Has anyone had this happen? If so how did u fix it?
On the road wd40... When we reached our destination grafite. Still cant get dead lock to completely engage

My main door lock has failed twice. The second time was my fault. The first time I was locked in the coach. Climbed out a window only to have to climb back in to loosen screws and finally get the door open. Check the screws on the inside of the door. You may be able to reposition the latch but if not a new lock is the fix. They aren't cheap. If you change it be sure to chanfge the part that mounts on the door frame too. That's not easy either.

For such cases, I always have scotch or tape in my salon if the problem occurs on the way. Replacing the lock is basically the first time I've had it in my memory.

I put a residential dead bolt in so I am not bothered with the no longer made Bargman lock that came with the coach. It is positive and I had it keyed to my house locks so I only have one key to carry.
