5210 lift kit? Opinions/experiences

My new 5210 is a tail dragger, even just pulling in to some gas stations…..
Researching I found E350 RV lift kits by Weldtec.

Does anyone have experience with this? I’m thinking 4” lift is plenty, but I don’t want it to be top heavy?
I’d like more aggressive tires too.

***As it is right now - there is no way I can take it places I want to go (boondocking sites, pulling my horse trailer to remote places to camp, etc).

Added air lift air bags with 2” spacer shims. Also added a remote controlled compressor. Inflated to 80 psi it lifts the rear 2”.

A couple thoughts...

-Try to limit weight in the rear. Put as much weight as you reasonably can forward of the rear wheels when driving. Things like tools, water and beverages, etc. It can make a difference.

-Be conscience of the levels of your black and gray tanks. The more that is in them, the more weight is behind your rear wheels, the more the tail end is going to sag.

-Try to go at a 45 degree angle when entering and exiting places with an elevation difference.

-If you have the $$ to throw at a mechanical solution, by all means, go for it. A 4 inch lift is going to make it look like a off-road truck. The problem is mostly in the rear, so an extra spring or two, or airbags would probably do it.

Well the lift kit is no longer an option. By doing that I would void my Ford warranty. It’s a new unit & I really can’t afford to do that 🤦🏻*♀️.

And it really isn’t a weight distribution issue IMHO, it’s geometry.
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE THE UNIT! It handles amazingly well (my old Sprinter van was terrible/top heavy). Being closer to the ground plays an important part in that good handling. But if you look at the end of the Rv in relation to the rear axle???
I’m not always able to enter a ‘dip’ or hump at a 45 degree angle 🫤.

Air bags may be the best solution, won’t void warranty. Still open to ideas!

Member BT5210 has a pretty big write up on fixing the rear squatting problem. He reduced the height of the front by installing less strong springs for the front suspension. Lowering the front raised the back. He also said it improved the ride. But the big question does it void the warranty?

I recently drove from Indiana - Nebraska - Indiana, it was a 6 day trip. The drive was windy, and at times, it was difficult to control the vechicle. Should I install sway bars? Is it worth?

Found the sticker on the sway bars on our 2021 Bt 5210
