Default Ultra Supreme Slide out Issues

Has any one else had this problem? I have a 2001 GS Ultra with a hydraulic living room slide out that won't operate. All the precautions have been taken but i'm still not getting any power to the wall switch or the safety driver seat micro switch. The problem started when the Capt. chair was swiveled outward and pulled the wiring out. I've read though the manual (which is limited on information at best) to having it say to check the 12v 50amp curcuit breaker located in either the front or rear external fuse box. I can't feel more stupid than trying to find said 50amp mini fuse. Can someone please tell me where the hell that is? I know it's just a fuse or breaker trip but I can't find it.

Frustrated and tired:

Look for another fuse (smaller) that is just for the "control side" of the system. I wouls look further at the wiring that was damaged or pulled out under the drivers seat. Maybe the wire that carries the voltage away from the switch is damaged. Look for places where the insulation looks like it has been stretched.

Default Slide-Out blues

I share your slide-out pain. I have a 2001 Class A Conquest. A few years ago I was traveling down US HWY 281 and noticed that the bedroom slide was creeping out! It got about 12" out before I could find a suitable place to park. I have learned much about the DeWald hydraulic slide system. The most important thing to know is that DeWald went out of business many years ago. Their parts were bout by Lippert, who has been selling them without much technical representation. They and everything else involving the system are expensive and very few people around the country even understand them. I found this company to be the most knowledgeable. Custom Cylinders, Int'l, 859-744-5544.
The first thing I can tell you is to make sure that the broken safety switch wires that were broken at your captain's chair are not creating a short. The next thing is to check all of your fuses (everywhere) for bad ones. There should be one or two at the inverter panel and one inline fuse under the canopy.
Make sure that you verify all wiring and connections before you start pulling things apart, and if you do make any physical changes, take reliable photos before you start.
I have attached a DeWald manual to assist.
Happy Trails, my friend.

on my 2004 ultra the fuse that controls the slide is in the forward storage compartment on the drivers side.

Default Living room slideout

Hi, I have a 2002 Friendship. My breaker for hydraulic LR slide out is in the rear compartment with the tran computer. There is a little switch that pops out on the side. Took me forever to trace it down !! Good luck !
