Default 1999 Yellowstone shoreline question

Just bought a 1999 yellowstone and I can't figure out why in the shoreline compartment there is no outlet to plug it in. When I'm dry camping, how does the generator run the microwave and other components? I have looked every where for a switch but do not see one. Also there is an "emergency switch" to the left of the side door. What is this switch for?

When you start your generator, power should automatically switch to use it, you should not have to do anything. If it does not, your "panel" is not working properly.
