Default Possible Purchase 91 Sun Voyager DP Any comments Please

Going to look at a 91 SV DP with about 60k on the clock.
inside looks great, outside is sun faded. has had at least one leak in the past. I will look for more.

Any comments about this coach.
we are not sure it will get up our steep driveway so that may be a deal killer rite off.

I have a cummins engine in my 01 Dodge pickup and love it. I worry that it may not be enough power for the hills around our area.

Have done allot of goggleing on this coach and come up with very little.

Thanks in advance.

The one thing you need to look at is will the rear of the motor home hit when you pull it up in the driveway. There is a lot of over hang on a motor home. I know I had to change my drive approch because of that.

I will be backing up the driveway, the good thing is that I can hit it a quite an angle so that should help. I currently back my Arctic Fox 27' fifth wheel up the drive (about 180') I know once the rear wheels get on the drive it will be ok.

Current owner suggested pumping up the airbags to increase the clearance. Don't know how effective that will be. I know there has to be a max airpressure on them so I don't want to blow them out just to get up the drive.

Thanks

I don't know how much angle you have on your driveway, but that could definitely be a problem. I only have to climb about a foot over the curb high and the tail pipe will touch the asphalt on the street from which I am coming from. I can make it alright, but like I said, I don't know what you have. I have a 38' Scenic Cruiser 2002.
