Default Electic slideout switch problem

I have a 2003 Friendship Quattro. I have it currently hooked up to 120v ac. Everything in the coach works fine except the kitchen electric slideout. The light on the switch stays lit but the slide will not operate. I have checked all the fuses and they are good. The electric bedroom slide works fine.

Our Friendship G7 is essentially the same coach, and believe that there are breakers in the curb side rear electrical compartment. Dark now but will look in the AM and send an update.

See you're in Madison, we're from Richland Center but currently on the GA/FL line.

Just looked in that rear electrical compartment. Looks like the slide switch controls a relay that's inline with a breaker. You should have power on both sides of the breaker and one side of the relay until the switch is pushed. At that point, the relay should close and provide power to the motor.
Good luck,

Sugar,

I have the same coach and had the same problem a week after we took delivery.

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=3966&p=17246#p17246 to read where this issue was previously discussed and see the photos I posted. It will help you identify the breaker buttons for the slides..

Let us know if you need more help.

I just checked and neither breaker is tripped.

If you have a meter you can check the power through the relay or determine if the voltage from the switch is getting to the coil lead on the relay
At a minimum you should be able to feel the relay engage as your helper pushes the switch. You could use the other slide for comparison.
Good luck,
Dennis
