Default Batteries Rig and Engine

'08 SN, I need to change out the Coach as well as the engine batteries.

I have Exide for the Coach Interstate for the Engine.
Any suggestions as to what I might use besides the above. Thanks

Is there some reason you don't want to use Interstate for all the replacements?

Just keep the deep cycle batteries in the coach tray and standard automotive in the engine bay.
If you can find one of these places near you, they seem to have good deals on batteries and can install them as well.

I run 2 Interstate standard automotive batteries for the engine and 2 Interstate 6 volt golf cart batteries for the house. You get twice the amp hours for the house for about 25% more money. I was a no brainer for me since I needed new batteries anyhow.

Thank you all for the replies. The reason I changed from Interstate was I couldn't get any where I am. All Auto no HD for Trucks. Best Warranty I got was on 4 Duracell 18 months. (Made in USA) I checked with Interstate made in Mexico only a 12 month Warranty. This will do what I need.

Our 08 SN had new interstate batteries for both(2 1/2 years old now). The engine batteries stopped holding a charge a few months ago and I just replaced them from Napa. Got their commercial batteries 950 cold cranking amps and 36 month warranty with 18 months being free replacement. US made Deka battery. Got them for $130 each, best price I had come across for a pair.

The key to longer engine starting battery life is a battery tender, as the engine batteries are not charged from shore power (at least they were not on my 2007 Tour Master T40-C DP coach, and your SN may be the same.)

I agree with Chuck V. I have had battery tenders, one for the coach batteries and one for the engine batteries, for years and I just replaced my coach batteries after 7 years. My engine batteries are still going strong at 6 years.
