Default Regeneration

I have a 2008 Gulstream Crescendo and driving from Houston to Dallas the "Regen required" light and words came up on the dash. On the way back it changed from that to "Regen Soon" and then 30 miles later went to "Regen Now" with and alarm. The amber light continues to blink, though the red stop engine light has not come on. Doesn't the engine automatically regen above 45 mph? I was steady 65+ for 3+ hours. Am I doing something wrong? Is it a sensor I can reset? Please help. I only have 11000 miles on the vehilce.
Thx.

I had to bring my RV into the Cat dealership to have them do a force regen. Apparently once you get to the "Regen now stage" there is too much carbon sut on the filter for the exhaust system to burn off. But there should be a manual switch that I can engage manually to force a regen if it doesn't automatically do it itself. Apparently unless someone can help me and let me know where it is on my 2008 Gulfstream Crescendo they didn't install one on this model...which would be really ridiculous being the only other way is to bring it to the CAT dealership every ~5000 miles for them to do it at $200.00+ a pop. Its suppose to be in clear view near the drivers console if there is one??
Please help if someone knows where the regen switch is on my RV?
Thx.

Sounds like a question for Cat or Freightliner. My Dodge pu has a Cummins with regen but it's all behind the curtain. Just work it a little to get the temps up.

See if this is of any help, note the parking brake for manual regen.it is supossed to regen while you are driving, if you can generate enough heat in the exhaust, pretty much a PIA system

yustabe. I believe you have a Freightliner chassis. I would call Freightliner in Gaffney SC and be sure to have your VIN number and they should be able to help you. They are very friendly and will try to help you.
