Looking to get into RVing but at times my head feels like it's going to explode. Seems like there are a thousand trailer manufacturers out there and finding reliable info trying to research them is difficult compared to buying a car or truck.

Nevertheless the 2018 Vintage Cruiser 23RSS is on the short list. I'd like to tap the collective experience of the group and ask a few questions:

1. What do you like most about your Vintage Cruiser?
2. What disappointed you or surprised you most after buying it?
3. What one accessory or add on do you consider a must have?
4.The sales lady said most people buy an extra battery. Would having a generator be better or would should I plan for both.
5. She also said that the silicone caulk on the sides of the top needs removed and replaced every two years.. Is that normal for RVs?
6. Have you found the Vintage Cruiser's A/C adequate in 80-90 degree weather?

Thank you in advance for your help.

I haven't had a trailer for a few years, but in general, I'll assume its a 23' trailer, and that ac should be fine, 1 slide?
Silicone caulk is a no no, you will want a urethane based caulk like Dicor.
Battery and or generator for off grid, how much time will you do that, but a battery will keep the fridge running while driving along with a charge line from your tow vehicle
Ok its a 26' trailer @ a little over 4k# make sure you have enough tow vehicle, I would stay under 75% of my tow rating
When you do get it, do your 1st trip close to home or in the driveway to get used to things

Default Vintage cruiser

We have the vs17 so it is a bit shorter

Definately get an antisway hitch

The ac is more than enough for 100 degree texas days. We have to turn it off it gets so cold

My wife loves everything about it
