Default Are the Super Novas cursed?

We have had this 6332 going on 4 years now and holy cow man it is one thing right after another. First the brakes and after 9 months got that fixed. Next the class V trailer hitch sheers the bolts off the frame going to Florida towing our $50k show truck. Then the awning over the front slide starting sticking and eventually broke. Had that fixed twice and the third time replaced it and less than a year old it breaks. The ABS light comes on again now and took a short two hour trip over the NC mountains to camp this weekend and turn the hot water on in the shower the cold water handle shoots off. Are all RV's like this or is mine just a POS? The wife and I both enjoy going camping but damn it is something breaking on this thing every time we go and makes it not fun.

Default The camper secret

Apparently no one told you that the enjoyable part of camper ownership is the challenge you face in being able to repair anything and everything placed in or on a camper. Every piece of them is supplied by the lowest bidder and installed by folks who will take a shortcut even when it is not necessary. If you really want to experience problems with them, let them sit unused for a while. They all seem to have the same types of problems no matter how much you pay for them.
If you want to camp, just be prepared and carry a lot of tools and parts and add a large measure of patience and confidence.

You also need to remember all of the Supernovas are getting to be 9 to 12 years old and things are going to break. As stated in another post, Manufacturer’s in this level of motorhome did not purchase high quality stuff.
