Default Tank clean-out hook up and leaks

Hello to all.
I have a new to me 2004 Gulfstream Friendship G7. The previous owner took the rig to the RV repair shop complaining about pressure to the water supply when he was hooked up to shore water. The shop replaced a couple of valves near the pump, and that seemed to satisfy the previous owner.

We have had the rig about 8 months. The first time we hooked up a hose to the tank wash-out connection, water came pouring out from underneath the rig on the opposite side where the water manifold is housed. The low point drains are located here. So, we have not used this connection since then.

Yesterday, there were two issues that occurred. The water supply hose connection broke at the rig - it was relatively new, but the metal just broke. Water went under the rig inside. Concurrently, the toilet was left running and filled up the black water tank. When this happens, the water leaks out under the toilet area.

So, my questions are these: Should I get into the plumbing in the rig to find the leak for the tank washout system? How hard is this? I already have part of the panels out to find the leak, but have to get PEX parts to retighten any fittings that need to be loosened to get the panels completely out.

Secondly, why would the toilet leak when the blackwater tank is full? Could this be related to the first question's problem?
Any hints on getting to the plumbing would be greatfully appreciated.

Susan
