I have a 2005 Crescendo, Freightliner chassis, Cat C7. I noticed cracks starting to appear around the entire perimeter of the front tires, at first only on the fronts, then I noticed the rears starting to crack.
I placed a call to Michelin customer service, was directed to take MH to local dealer for examination. Tire Mfgr. Date code is 13/07. Tires have 29000 miles on them. 8000 when I purchased MH, 20000 put on by me.
Dealer called Michelin to report condition of tires and tread depth, Michelin told dealer to discount and replace all six tires. I figured they would give me a $100.00 credit for each tire. I was pleasently surprised that Michelin agreed to replace all the tires for under $900.00. I paid $1300.00 total which included all the mounting, balance, and taxes.
Now that is what I call customer service. They sure got a loyal customer out of this deal from me. What great factory support.
