Does anyboy hae a problem with their front wheels shimmying? I purchased a 2007 TM 40A and have a major problem with wheel shimmy.

No not really smooth ride at all speed check your rims

Hi William:
My 07 does not shimmy. Causes include improper air pressure (check all tires for correct inflation), improper balancing of the tires, or out of alignment.
I also recommend the Safe-T-Steer. Some form of steering stabilizer is a god send. Why GS does not offer this as OEM or an option is beyond me.

I do get a shimmy if I dont use it for a month or so.......I'm starting to put it on the lifts....since the shimmy seems to go away once I get about ten miles on the trip....then it stays smooth......

That's sounds like a normal set in the tires which goes away once they've flexed and warmed up.
