But, the links seem to still work. And, they have purged all of the recent posts. Why would they do this? It looks like this and RV.net will be our only outlet now. If you have an issue that you pose to GS, please let us know what it was and what the resolution was so that we may all benefit. Also, describe how it went (good or bad) on the service forum.

Lets all come together here and help each other out.

Why would Gulfstream purge past posts?

Why would Gulfstream purge past posts?

They are operating it a bit like a communist state. It seems that they only want positive or neutral things in the forum. If a thread is not balanced or in their favor, it has been purged.

Sad, really, since there was some good info in there.

This is your voice now...tell them how you feel...we won't delete it!

I was just on the Streamers site and all the forums are locked! I noticed at the bottom that they had product information for motorhomes, fifth wheels etc. but you couldnt post anything...anywhere the whole forum is locked. I wonder whats going on now?

My speculation is that the IT person as well as the service people got in a heap of trouble for letting the forum "get out of control". Basically, it went south when GS personnel were not properly responding to posts by answering folks questions but were either telling them to call in or personally email.

The forums are now locked. The main page of the Gulf Stream Club site says that you can email someone for access. But, it still seems that the forums are locked and most if not all posts from the last 6 weeks have been purged.

We'll see what happens. Meanwhile, I think that the software on this forum is much better and the fact that it is 3rd party will make people feel more comfortable about knowing their posts will not be deleted.
