Well I just got home today after being out with the 2004 Gulfstream MH,model # 8379. this is the one that has three slides and a sunroom. I noticed that the rear slideout seemed to be setting lower in the opening so I raised the bed and seen that the support roller on the left side was broken. It is a white nylon support about 8 to 10 inches long. Has any of you had this problem and where do I buy this part? I called Longview and they said it would have to be ordered from the factory and the factory was shut down for two weeks. It doesn't appear to be a big job to replace it but first I have to get the new part. Seems strange this would break with only 17000 miles on it. but it is broken.
Also once again I had the left front brake heat up. This has happened before on several occasions. When it happens I can pull over let it set for 10 to 15 min. then it will be ok. Strange. My experience with sticking calipers is that when they sieze up they don't repair themselves. I have had new calipers installed on the rear of this motor home when it had but 7000 miles and they siezed, at that time it was still under warrenty and Workhorse paid for the repair. I see that there has been a lot of problems with the brakes on this year motor home and from what I read maybe Workhorse will have a recall on it. So I hate to spend all the money and maybe it will be done by Workhorse at a later date.
Well anyway I had a good campout and once again the MH had it normal problems. It appears to be always something.

I would not wait on WH repairing your brakes. It is a known problem with a lot of good info on the IRV2 and RV.Net forums.

Check them out and get it fixed as it will likely only get worse.

Just my $.02.

Good Luck.

I have a 2001 Gulf Stream Sun Voyager 37'. The right front brake caught fire on the start of a trip. I had it repaired and called WH and was told my campaign was completed in 2005 and there was nothing they could do for me. Two weeks later I received a notice to call a WH dealer for a recall of Bosch brakes. Took it over and they checked it and said it would be two weeks to order the parts which is only a temp repair untill the permanent fix in (maybe) October. I now have to put my leaving on vacation off for two weeks, and was told now not to drive any long distances untill it can be done permanently. This is a campaign for the same problem, BAD CALIPERS...............
Anyone have any idea what kind of recourse I have?
