I have a 96 31' Sun Voyager built on the Spartan chassis that needs windshields-left and right. The original glass was not present when I purchased (as a rebuildable). Lining up the glass has been a little difficult-of course there are no 'glass' numbers to give Gaurdian and they want measurements.

What year SV's are structurally the same?
How does a windshield mount? I'll need the gasket (which takes 3 wks to be made and delivered!). How does the windshield actually say on the frame without falling out? there doesn't seem to be pinch gasket that 'holds' it. Is there something between the two windshields (a metal bar to hold the windshield in place)?

Any tips on getting these windshields in place would be greatly appreciated. The shops I've talked to either don't work on RV's or want me to drive to their location.

Had one of my windshields replaced, all the glass shop wanted was the dimensions. The glass shop actually called GS, and got through to someone, and got the original measurements and maker.
It might be a long shot, but I would give GS a call and see if they have the info you need.

the glass and gasket is on order...finally :-)

even after getting the pn's fm GS, Gaurdian glass wasn't able to immediately sell me glass...then a few hours later was able to cross reference the numbers. Got the gasket from a dealer who will ship it out to me.
