After sitting for 5 1/2 weeks at the Service Center, our 09 6341 is back. While GS paid for repairs to try and seal the slides, nothing I've seen so far has been changed. The S.C. owner told us the the slideouts were so far out of spec that they would need to be removed to be repaired / replaced. My wife is so concerned about mold and water damage that she doesn't want this one back, and has said that she could never trust it. What have you had happen with water damage in the slides and the floors and what did you get done to repair/ replace them. I'm looking for thoughts and ideas. We love the design, but you know, slides have been aroung for a while (20Years+) you would think GS would be able to make some that don't leak. If ever we could get a reply from GS than maybe we would know!

I know this doesn't help you, but the slide on ours works fine and without leaks -- so they can do it. Unfortunately, it sounds like yours was wrongly assembled.

My 2005 6340 leaks like a seive, and has since we had it. Camping World where we bought it (used 6500 miles at purchase) no problems at purchase. They fixed first initial leaks all was well. Trip to Texas Utah and Colorado not a sign of a leak. Home Nov08 unit sat till now all OK. Checked last week floor was wet leaking upper slide seals. BUT the main heart break was a leak overhead lining is full of water. It sits now under the blue tarp (well known in Fl) keeping water out till we go back to CW. Back to your situation an 09. Well, if I had a choice you can imagine what I would do. Best wishes

I had my 5291 BT Cruiser in the shop for over 6 months with two leaking slides.
They replaced all of the flooring, the caarpet and the basement carpet due to mold.

The final fix was removing the slides, realigning them, re-doing the decals.
all is well now - be persistent with GS and they will come to your aid.

Saga continues. June-23-2009 UNit living under blue tarp it is now Back at CampingWorld to have old roof caulking stripped and entirely re-sealed. August 14 went to pick up and ceiling was saturated let them keep it to fix it again it's their problem.
I am really beginning to think I sould have never bought it........

I havn't discussed this problem with GS I bought the 2006- 6340 used from camping world do you think GS would be interested in helping??

I could write a book on Gulf stream Quality, or lack there of. I was once told G/S was one of the best. Not even close.
I am holding on to my 6340 Endura for another year or so then trading it for anything but a Gulf Stream.
Have possibly finally repaired leaking slide did it myself. has water damage going to stay out west till it dries out HaHa.
That being said I am now sitting here in Utah and the equalizer levelers will noy retract and the slides will not operate...... other than that all is good...
I say complements to Chevy Kodiak HOWEVER the Gulf Stream house sucks.....
