If it is an Onan generator, here is a diagram that points to all the key parts...

Frank, You need to supply more information on your generator.
Is it a Onan? Diesel, gasoline or LP fueled?

it is a generac diesel generator i belive it is a three cyclinder. the reason i asked the question is i cant see how the service is done because its in the front of the m/h and real close to the top of the floor. i dont see any slide ex; remove a couple of bolts, remove the front grill piece and [slide]pull it out,do the service and slide it back, replace the bolts and grill .i am thinking that gettin at this thing cant be that difficult so theres something i am missing or not seeing.

Frank, Here is a link to the manuals for the Generac generators that should answer all your service questions. http://www.standbypowerofne.com/generators/products/RV_manuals3232.html
