This item is about the rear black tank in the 6400. Several weeks ago the check valve, where one connects a hose, failed on the rear tank sprayer. I replaced the valve but now I cannot get water to flow to the spray head. It was completely blocked when I started, but I filled the tank full with water and let water drain back out the spray line until it stopped, I removed the check valve. Now I get some flow but not what it should be. Two questions:
1) Can anyone describe what the spray head looks like that is in the tank? I am thinking that a piece of the check valve I replaced may be stuck some where in the line or could dirt stop it up?
2) I cannot figure the piping on the rear spray head! It appears it runs the length of the tank, comes around the tank, than down the other side for a about 18 inches, goes up to who knows where, comes back down and then comes around the end of the tank and into the spray head on the end of the tank! If anyone else is so inclined, could you please look and see if you see the same piping or does it go into the end like the front black tank. Unfortunately, to get to the rear spray head it appears one would have to remove the water heater, where as the front head is accessible.
Thanks!

This probably won't help, but I discoverd that the back black tank flush on my 6400 didn't work from the factory. The front one worked fine. After a little investigation I figured out that they installed the check valve backwords in the factory. I switched it around and all has been fine since then.

After looking at it again, it appears the line is going to the vent on top of the RV, before going back to the black tank. But that makes no sense! Anyone with any suggestions?

My 6400 model rear black tank flush valve had the same problem as PieEye's.....it was installed backwards at the factory.

Are you talking about the valve where the garden hose is connected?

The valve under the sink.
